Marta Wajda created these fluffy looking night-lights for kids. I wonder if the SoundCloud / MobileMe offices will buy a couple of these.
Actually, any cloud hosted service should have these around [great decor I think].

This project underlines the importance of an environment’s sound and also its quality.
Sound Window is an object particularly adapted to places without a window, places without sound environment — as in urban areas. The device enables the user to play an external sound background in one’s home.
Like a real window which brings light and air into a home, Sound Window brings a real sound environment into your personal space.
These sounds are taken from a life’s special places : relaxation, travel — a market in Marrakech, a tropical wood, a beach etc. All these sounds increase the volume of a room‘s environment.
This object can be easily and intuitively used. The left side of the window adjusts the sound volume. The more you open it the more you increase it. The right side of the window selects the sound landscape and allows many opening positions.
The sound landscape is forwarded by Wifi. The easy connection to a HiFi system with an audio cable gives a [better] home cinema sound.
The listener is totally immersed in a real and vibrant sound landscape with unlimited environment diversity.
This concept is quite interesting and I like it alot. Now, if there programmable locales, that would make it even better. Learning a language would be a lot easier if you heard the natives speaking in the background while you’re doing other work.

This is simply dope. I would love to have this in the middle of a room bumping my awesome house beats.
