Paul Webb DSGN Journal - Wat Hut via VisionDivision 01

This house extension was made for the children of a Swedish/Thai couple [the kids are moving to Sweden from Thailand so emphasis is especially placed on them to make the move easier].

And just so you know, that is a carpet of artificial grass to connect seamlessly with the outdoors.

In addition, there are artificial grass hills/couches that can be moved freely. It would have been awesome to have this in my younger days.

Paul Webb DSGN Journal - Bunk Beds by PLUUNK 01

I wish I had this when I was 7 … this bunk bed allows for a coupe of different configurations, which is a plus if you tend to rearrange furniture every now and then [like I do]. Ik promises easy assembly within minutes.

This new take on bunk beds is constructed of high quality hardwood and ply, finished with environmentally sound finishes.

The Copenhagen Wheel

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

The Copenhagen Wheel transforms ordinary bicycles quickly into hybrid e-bikes that also function as mobile sensing units. It allows you to capture the energy dissipated while cycling and braking and save it for when you need a bit of a boost.

It also maps pollution levels, traffic congestion, and road conditions in real-time.

And ultra-cool concept that I hope catches on in cities everywhere [a good decrease in emissions and such].
