The Practice of Everyday Design is releasing this nice table at the Toronto Interior Design Show between January 21–24, 2010 in the Prototype Exhibit.
If you happen to be around the area, it certainly is an excellent show to attend.

Cornered is a much more functional coffee table than other ones I’ve seen. It values clean surface area yet holds a place for your favorite few books or magazines.

Ignotus Samovar
Monday, December 7th, 2009This project from Aleksey Belyalov reminds me of the Tachikomas from the Ghost in the Shell anime.
A “samovar” is essentially a “self-brewer/boiler” for tea/coffee/etc.
