Paul Webb DSGN Journal - Flip Table by Signe Baadsgaard 01

Problem : You’re short on space, and you don’t have room for a dedicated workstation at home. As a result, paperwork lies like a patchwork of worries over the kitchen table, where it quickly becomes an irritation.

When it’s time to eat, you stack all the papers at the one end, losing any semblance of organization or sense of progress.

This is *my* problem and as I look around my room, I could definitely benefit from having a table such as this.

Sketches, mockups, lyrics, and a myriad of ideas scribbled onto various sheets of paper shoved into books and stacked into piles is what I’m currently dealing with.

For pricing you’ll have to contact No Problem yourself. I plan on doing so when I get my studio together.

J House

Saturday, October 10th, 2009

Heard about this a few months ago and just remembered it today. I absolutely love Japan’s houses because of the simplicity they have and the elegance they give off and J House is no different.

This is a private residential home designed by Yosuke Ichii Architects. The house is only one story but gives off the illusion of a second floor due to the boxy structure on top of it but it does have 2 ground floors, if that makes sense. Here are some images of the interior.

You just gotta love that natural lighting!

Paul Webb DSGN Journal - The Ebb Bath Collection 01

This is my future bathroom, definitely. Just imagine how clean it would be … just the slightest speck of dirt would make the OCD in me attack it, simply because it would be so noticeable. But enough about me, let’s go to the details.

This collection is the brainchild of the company, “usTogether” and it focuses on a pure, minimalist, fluid design that makes everything just go together. Look how nicely the different elements are nested together [and now you understand the name of the company]. Here’s a couple more photos :
