Paul Webb DSGN Journal - Bunk Beds by PLUUNK 01

I wish I had this when I was 7 … this bunk bed allows for a coupe of different configurations, which is a plus if you tend to rearrange furniture every now and then [like I do]. Ik promises easy assembly within minutes.

This new take on bunk beds is constructed of high quality hardwood and ply, finished with environmentally sound finishes.

Paul Webb DSGN Journal - Floating Bed 01

… or, floating *platform* bed, on which the mattress is made to appear as if it is floating in mid-air. The headboard/table is a nice addition to this as well.

There’s also a version with only one leg …

… or, with the legs on the sides.

Curve Pet Bed

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

Just as a quick side note/back story, when this arrived in my RSS inbox, I was slightly surprised.

The dog in this picture is of the same breed as some dogs my friend has and one of those dogs took a [highly enthusiastic] liking to me the night before. Let’s just say, if that dog was a human female, I’d look like a rock star. Anyhoo …

All of the pet beds I’ve seen are boring. It’s basically just putting a fluffy pillow on the floor for your pet to sleep on. Ultra-wack right? Not these!

Here’s a quick pic of how it works and some specs right after.

Features :
/ Bentwood in Maple veneer
/ Linseed oil finish
/ White powder coated mounting brackets
/ Easy installation – only 2 holes are required for mounting
/ Anchor and screw set provided for drywall
/ Snap on cushions — cushion is removable + washable

Is $200 USD a good price for this? Maybe it is when you figure you might have to replace that floor pillow on a regular basis due to foot traffic, etc.
